Implants
We work closely with the award winning ‘The Implant Centre’ in either Haywards Heath or Hove. The Implant Centre places the implants and then your own dentist at Katoomba restores the implant with a crown to match your existing teeth. The final outcome will be a replacement tooth that looks, feel and functions like one of your own teeth. You simply have to clean it using standard tooth brushing and special flossing techniques.
If you are missing a number of adjacent teeth they may either be replaced with individual implants (one for each missing tooth), or by joining two or more implants together. this latter option can make implant treatment more affordable when patients are missing many teeth.
Before Dental Implant
Loss of any tooth, especially a front tooth can be very distressing and a real knock to your confidence. This patient was concerned that she would have to wear a denture and wanted another option.
After Dental Implant
A single implant to replace the missing tooth was the ideal solution to the problem. The patient is highly delighted that she has her smile back and feels a lot better about herself. Because the implant is designed to fuse with bone it is permanently fixed and with good care should last a lifetime.
